MASON" The judicial power of the United States shall be vested in one Supreme Court and in such Courts of Admiralty as Congress shall establish in an 7 of the States. And also in Courts of Admiralty to be established ?n such of the States as Congress shall direct. The jurisdiction of the supreme courts shall extend to all cases in law and equity arising under this Constitution, the laws of the United States and treaties made or which shall be made under their authority; to all cases affecting ambassa- dors, other public ministers and consuls; to all cases of ad- miralty and maritime jurisdiction; to controversies to which the United States shall be a party? to controversies between two or more States; between cltizen.? of the .?ame State claiming lands of different States, and between a State and the �iti?ns thereof and foreign States, citizens or subjects.
