Proc. 8180 Title 3--The President NOW, THEREFORE, I, GEORGE W. BUSH, President of the United States of America, acting under the authority vested in me by the Constitution and the laws of the United States of America, including but not limited to section 201(b) of the NAFTA Implementation Act and section 604 of the 1974 Act, do proclaim that: (\177) In order to provide an accelerated schedule of duty elimination for spe- cific goods of Mexico under the terms of general note \1772 to the HTS, the tariff treatment set forth in the HTS is modified as provided in the Annex to this proclamation. (2) The amendments made to the HTS by the Annex to this proclamation shall be effective with respect to goods entered, or withdrawn from ware- house for consumption, on or after October \177, 2007. (3) Any provisions of previous proclamations and Executive Orders that are inconsistent with the actions taken in this proclamation are superseded to the extent of such inconsistency.
