To complete the road from Point Douglass to Fort Gaines, now Fort Ripley, thirteen thousand four hundred and ninety-four dollars and nine cents. To complete the road from Swan River to the Winnebago Agency, two thousand five hundred and thirt -five dollars and thirty-nine cents. To complete the road from 'eifabashaw to Mendota, thirteen thousand eight hundred and seventy-one dollars and seventy-six cents. The said road to be completed under the direction of the Secretary of War. To complete the road from Mendota to the Big Sioux River, twenty- seven thousand four hundred and seventydive dollars and sixty-eight cents. That the sum of thirty-two thousand dollars be, and the same is hereby, appropriated, out of any moneys in the treasury not otherwise appropriated, to be expended under the direction of the Secretary of War, in the manner following, namely: Sixteen thousand dollars for the improvement of the road from Fort Union to Santa Fé; ten thousand dollars for the improvement of the road from Soculote to Albuquerque, via Canon Blanco and Canon Carnue; and six thousand dollars for the improvement of the road from Canada to Abiquea.; all the said roads being in the Territory of New Mexico.
