Be it enacted by the Senate and House of Representatives of the United States of America in Congress assembled. That, notwithstanding the numerical limitations specified in sections 201(a) and 202(a) of the Immigration and Nationality Act, Maria Linda Sy Gonzalez shall be issued an immigrant visa under section 221 of such Act and admitted to the United States for permanent residence if she— (1) is found to be otherwise admissible under such Act, and (2) applies for an immigrant visa and for admission to the United States not later than 2 years after the date of the enactment of this Act. Be it enacted by the Senate and House of Representatives of the United States of America in Congress assembled, That (a) subject to Sandip Lai. subsection (b), in the administration of the Immigration and Swaran Kanta Nationality Act, Rajani Lai shall be classified as a child within the ^^^ meaning of section 101(b)(l)(E) of the Act, upon the approval of a petition filed under section 204 of the Act by Sandip Lai, a citizen of the United States and Swaran Kanta Lai, a permanent resident. The petition may be filed in the United States. (b) Subsection (a) shall only apply if the cleissification petition is filed within two years after the date of enactment of this Act. (c) The natural parents, brothers, sisters or the beneficiary under subsection (a) shall not, by virtue of such relationship, be accorded any right, privilege, or status under the Immigration and Nationality Act. (d) Upon admission to the United States, Rajani Lai shall proceed to be adopted in accordance with the laws of the State of Florida. Approved November 9, 1988.
