PUBLIC LAW 101-189—NOV. 29, 1989 103 STAT. 1657 (c) DESCRIPTION OF PROPERTY. —The exact acreage and legal description of the property to be conveyed under this section de- scribed in subsection (a) shall be determined by a survey satisfactory to the Secretary. The cost of such survey shall be borne by Hudson County, New Jersey. (d) ADDITIONAL TERMS AND CONDITIONS. —The Secretary may re- quire such additional terms and conditions in connection with any conveyance under this section as the Secretary determines appro- priate to protect the interests of the United States. SEC. 2819. TRANSFER OF JURISDICTION OVER CERTAIN LANDS AT SANDIA, NEW MEXICO (a) IN GENERAL.— The Secretary of Defense may transfer to the Secretary of Energy, without consideration, jurisdiction and control of the real property, including improvements thereon, described in subsection (b) for use by the Department of Energy in providing a location for the Center for National Security and Arms Control. (b) DESCRIPTION OF PROPERTY. —(1) The real property referred to in subsection (a) is a tract of land, including improvements thereon, located in Bernalillo County, New Mexico, in a portion of section 32, township 10 north, range 4 east. New Mexico principal meridian, and consisting of approximately 5.6 acres. (2) The exact acreage and legal description of the property re- ferred to in paragraph (1) shall be determined by a survey satisfac- tory to the Secretary of Defense. SEC. 2820. LAND CONVEYANCE, PITTSBURGH, PENNSYLVANIA (a) IN GENERAL.— Subject to subsections G)) through (f), the Sec- retary of the Navy may convey to Carnegie-Mellon University all right, title, and interest of the United States in and to approxi- mately 1.29 acres of land located at 4902 Forbes Avenue, Allegheny County, Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania, including improvements thereon, comprising the Naval and Marine Corps Reserve Center. Ob) CONSIDERATION. — In consideration for the sale and conveyance, the University shall pay to the United States the fair market value, as determined by the Secretary, of the property to be conveyed by the United States under subsection (a). (c) USE OF FUNDS. —(1) Funds received by the Secretary under subsection (b) may be used to pay for the acquisition or construction of a replacement facility, including the acquisition of real property, in the greater Pittsburgh area to be used as a Naval and Marine Corps Reserve Center. (2) The Secretary shall deposit into the Treasury as miscellaneous receipts any amount received under this section and not obligated under paragraph (1) within the four-year period beginning on the date of the receipt thereof. (d) NOTICE.— The Secretary may not enter into any contract for Reports. acquisition or construction of replacement facilities under this sec- tion until after the 21-day period beginning on the date on which the Secretary transmits to the Committees on Armed Services and the ' Committees on Appropriations of the Senate and of the House of Representatives a detailed report on the proposed contract. (e) DESCRIPTION OF PROPERTY.—The exact acreage and legal description of the property to be conveyed under this section shall be determined by a survey satisfactory to the Secretary. The cost of such survey shall be borne by the University.
