Be it enacted by the Senate and House of Representatives of the United States of America in Congress assembled, SECTION 1. WAIVER OF WAITING PERIOD FOR TRANSFER OF U.S.S. LEXINGTON. Clause (2) of section 7308(c) of title 10, United States Code, shall not apply with respect to the transfer by the Secretary of the Navy under section 7308(a) of such title of the obsolete training aircraft carrier U.S.S. Lexington (AVT-16) to the Corpus Christi Area Convention and Visitors Bureau, Corpus Christi, Texas, for use as a naval museum and memorial. Approved March 12, 1992.
