SEC. 404. AUTHORIZATION OF APPROPRIATIONS. Section 205 of the Child Abuse Prevention and Treatment and Adoption Reform Act of 1978 (42 U.S.C. 5115) is amended— (1) by striking out subsection (a) and inserting in lieu thereof the following new subsection: "(a) There are authorized to be appropriated, $10,000,000 for fiscal year 1992, and such sums as may be necessary for each of the fiscal years 1993 through 1995, to carry out programs and activities under this Act except for programs and activities authorized under sections 203(b)(9) and 203(c)(1)."; and (2) in subsection (b), by striking out "$3,000,000", the first place that such appears, and all that follows through the end thereof, and inserting in lieu thereof the following: "$10,000,000 for fiscal year 1992, and such sums as may be necessary for each of the fiscal years 1993 through 1995, to carry out section 203(b)(9), and there are authorized to be appropriated $10,000,000 for fiscal year 1992, and such sums as may be necessary for each of the fiscal years 1993 through 1995, to carry out section 203(c)(1).".
