106 STAT. 30 PUBLIC LAW 102-245—FEB. 14, 1992 (b) ANALYSIS AND DISCUSSION.— The report shall include an analy- sis and discussion of— (1) the geographic distribution of Federal research and development grants and contracts; (2) current Federal efforts to stimulate competitive research; and (3) the feasibility and advisability of new Federal programs to stimulate competitive research. SEC. 510. INTERAGENCY COORDINATION. The Secretary shall, within 180 days after the date of enactment of this Act, submit to the Committee on Science, Space, and Technology and the Committee on Energy and Commerce of the House of Representatives and the Committee on Commerce, Science, and Transportation of the Senate, a plan for coordination of Commerce Department efforts with other Federal agencies for activities related to high-resolution information systems, including research and development activities.
