PUBLIC SAFETY OFFICERS BENEFITS For payments authorized by part L of title I of the Omnibus Crime Control and Safe Streets Act of 1968 (42 U.S.C. 3796), as amended, such sums as are necessary, to remain available until expended, as authorized by section 6093 of Public Law 100-690 (102 Stat. 4339-4340). GENERAL ADMINISTRATION SALARIES AND EXPENSES For expenses necessary for the administration of the Department of Justice, $115,929,000; of which not to exceed $1,650,000 is for the Facilities Program 2000, to remain available until expended. OFFICE OF INSPECTOR GENERAL For necessary expenses of the Office of Inspector General in carrying out the provisions of the Inspector General Act of 1978, as amended, $30,622,000; including not to exceed $10,000 to meet imforeseen emergencies of a confidential character, to be expended under the direction of the Attorney General, and to be accounted for solely on his certificate; and for the acquisition, lease, maintenance and operation of motor vehicles without regard to the general purchase price limitation. QUANTICO TRAINING CENTER For necessary expenses for planning, construction, and piu*- chase of equipment for an expanded law er^orcement training center at the FBI Training Academy at Quantico, Virginia, $7,700,000 to remain available until expended, to be expended at the direction of the Attorney General. WEED AND SEED PROGRAM FUND For necessary expenses, including salaries and related expenses of the Executive Office for Weed and Seed, to implement "Weed and Seed" program activities, $13,150,000, to remain available until expended for intergovernmental agreements, including grants, cooperative agreements, and contracts, with State and local law enforcement agencies engaged in the investigation and prosecution of violent crimes and drug offenses in '^eed and Seed" designated communities, and for either reimbursements or transfers to appropriation accounts of the Department of Justice and other Federal agencies which shall be specified by the Attorney General to execute the *Weed and Seed" program strategy: Provided, That for fiscal year 1993 and thereafter the Attorney General shall (1) promote
