106 STAT. 2244 PUBLIC LAW 102-443~OCT. 23, 1992 Public Law 102-443 ,, , 102d Congress An Act Oct. 23, 1992 To provide for the temporary use of certain lands in the city of South Gate, [H.R. 5291] California, for elementary school purposes. Be it enacted by the Senate and House of Representatives of the United States of America in Congress assembled, SECTION 1. TEMPORARY USE OF CERTAIN LANDS FOR ELEMENTARY SCHOOL PURPOSES. Notwithstanding section 6(f)(3) of the Land and Water Conservation Fund Act of 1965 (16 U.S.C. 4601-8(f)(3)), the city of South Gate, California, is hereby authorized to extend the existing lease (dated June 8, 1988) between the city of South Gate and the Los Angeles Unified School District on approximately three acres of South Gate Park for temporary elementary school purposes for a period not to exceed 8 years m>m the date of enactment of this Act in order to allow the School District sufficient time to permanently relocate Tweedy Elementary School.
