(a) REDESIGNATIONS. — The office of Under Secretary of Defense for Acquisition in the Department of Defense is hereby redesignated as Under Secretary of Defense for Acquisition and Technology. The office of Deputy Under Secretary of Defense for Acquisition in the Department of Defense is hereby redesignated as Deputy Under Secretary of Defense for Acquisition and Technology. (b) USD CHARTER AMENDMENTS. —(1) Section 133 of title 10, United States Code, is amended by striking out "Under Secretary of Defense for Acquisition" in subsections (a), (b), and (e)(l) and inserting in lieu thereof "Under Secretary of Defense for Acquisition and Technology".
