(d)(1) Section 210(a)(5)(H)(i) of the Social Security Act (42 U.S.C. 410(a)(5)(H)(i)) is amended— (A) by striking "or" after "1986" and inserting a comma; and (B) by inserting "or the Federal Employees' Retirement System Open Enrollment Act of 1997" after "(50 U.S.C. 2157),". (2) Section 3121(b)(5)(H)(i) of the Internal Revenue Code of 1986 is amended— 26 USC 3121. (A) by striking "or" after "1986" and inserting a comma; and (B) by inserting "or the Federal Employees' Retirement System Open Enrollment Act of 1997" after "(50 U.S.C. 2157),".
