112 STAT. 60 PUBLIC LAW 105-174—MAY 1, 1998 pursuant to section 251(b)(2)(A) of the Balanced Budget and Emergency Deficit Control Act of 1985, as amended: Provided further, That the entire amount shall be available only to the extent that an official budget request for $125,528,000, that includes designation of the entire amount of the request as an emergency requirement as defined in the Bedanced Budget and Emergency Deficit Control Act of 1985, as amended, is transmitted by the President to the Congress. OPERATION AND MAINTENANCE, ARMY RESERVE For an additional amount for "Operation and Maintenance, Army Reserve", $650,000: Provided, That such amount is designated by the Congress as an emergency requirement pursuant to section 251(b)(2)(A) of the Balanced Budget and Emergency Deficit Control Act of 1985, as amended. OPERATION AND MAINTENANCE, AIR FORCE RESERVE For an additional amount for "Operation and Maintenance, Air Force Reserve", $229,000: Provided, That such amount is designated by the Congress as an emergency requirement pursuant to section 251(b)(2)(A) of the Balanced Budget and Emergency Deficit Control Act of 1985, as amended. OPERATION AND MAINTENANCE, ARMY NATIONAL GUARD For an additional amount for "Operation and Maintenance, Army National Guard", $175,000: Provided, That such amount is designated by the Congress as an emergency requirement pursuant to section 251(b)(2)(A) of the Balanced Budget and Emergency Deficit Control Act of 1985, as amended. OVERSEAS CONTINGENCY OPERATIONS TRANSFER FUND (INCLUDING TRANSFER OF FUNDS) For an additional amount for "Overseas Contingency Operations Transfer Fund", $1,814,100,000, to remain available until expended: Provided, That such amount is designated by the Congress as an emergency requirement pursuant to section 251(b)(2)(A) of the Balanced Budget and Emergency Deficit Control Act of 1985, as amended: Provided further, That the Secretary of Defense may trgmsfer these funds to fiscal year 1998 appropriations for operation and maintenance, working capital funds, the Defense Health Program, procurement, and research, development, test and evaluation: Provided further. That the funds transferred shall be merged with and shall be available for the same purposes and for the same time period as the appropriation to which transferred, except that funds made available for or transferred to classified programs shall remain available until September 30, 1999: Provided further, That the transfer authority provided under this heading is in addition to any other transfer authority contained in Public Law 105-56.
