112 STAT. 72 PUBLIC LAW 105-174 —MAY 1, 1998 CHAPTER 4 DEPARTMENT OF THE INTERIOR BUREAU OF LAND MANAGEMENT CONSTRUCTION For an additional amount for "Construction", $1,837,000, to remain available until expended, to repair damage caused by floods and other natural disasters: Provided, That the entire amount shall be available only to the extent that an official budget request that includes designation of the entire amount as an emergency requirement as defined in the Balanced Budget and Emergency Deficit Control Act of 1985, as amended, is transmitted by the President to the Congress: Provided further, That the entire amount is designated by the Congress as an emergency requirement pursuant to section 251(b)(2)(A) of the Balanced Budget and Emergency Deficit Control Act of 1985, as amended. UNITED STATES FISH AND WILDLIFE SERVICE CONSTRUCTION For an additional amount for "Construction", $32,818,000, to remain available until expended, to repair damage caused by floods and other natural disasters: Provided, That of such amount, $29,130,000 shall be available only to the extent that an official budget request that includes designation of the entire amount as an emergency requirement as defined in the Balanced Budget and Emergency Deficit Control Act of 1985, as amended, is transmitted by the President to the Congress: Provided further. That the entire amount is designated by the Congress as an emergency requirement pursuant to section 251(b)(2)(A) of the Balanced Budget and Emergency Deficit Control Act of 1985, as amended. NATIONAL PARK SERVICE CONSTRUCTION For an additional amount for "Construction" to repair damage caused by floods and other natural disasters, $9,506,000, to remain available until expended: Provided, That the entire amount shall be available only to the extent that an official budget request that includes designation of the entire amount as an emergency requirement as defined in the Balanced Budget and Emergency Deficit Control Act of 1985, as amended, is transmitted by the President to the Congress: Provided further. That the entire amount is designated by the Congress as an emergency requirement pursuant to section 251(b)(2)(A) of such Act. UNITED STATES GEOLOGICAL SURVEY SURVEYS, INVESTIGATIONS, AND RESEARCH For an additional amount for "Surveys, Investigations, and Research" for emergency expenses resulting from floods and other natural disasters, $1,198,000, to remain available until expended: Provided, That the entire amount shall be available only to the
