Any determination of the Secretary under this subsection shall be made on the record after an opportunity for a hearing. (d) ADDITIONAL TERMS AND CONDITIONS.— The Secretary may require such additional terms and conditions in connection with the conveyance under subsection (a) as the Secretary considers appropriate to protect the interests of the United States. SEC. 2840. LAND CONVEYANCE, ARMY RESERVIS CENTER, BRIDGTON, MAINE. (a) CONVEYANCE AUTHORIZED.— The Secretary of the Army may convey, without consideration, to the Town of Bridgton, Maine (in this section referred to as the "Town"),, all right, title, and interest of the United States in and to a parcel of real property, including improvements thereon, consisting of approximately 3.65 acres and containing the Army Reserve Center in Bridgton, Maine, for the purpose of permitting the Town to develop the parcel for public benefit, including the development of municipal ofnce space. (b) DESCRIPTION OF PROPERTY. — The exact acreage and legal description of the real property to be conveyed under subsection (a) shall be determined by a survey satisfacitory to the Secretary. The cost of the survey shall be borne by the Town. (c) REVERSIONARY INTEREST.— During th<5 5-year period beginning on the date the Secretary makes the conveyance authorized under subsection (a), if the Secretary determines that the conveyed real property is not being used in accordance with the purpose of the conveyance specified in such subsection, all right, title, and interest in and to the property, including any improvements thereon, shall revert to the United States, and the United States shall have the right of immediate entry onto the property. Any determination of the Secretary under this subsection shall be made on the record after an opportunity for a hearing. SEC. 2841. LAND CONVEYANCE, FORT SHERIDAN,, ILLINOIS. (a) CONVEYANCE AUTHORIZED.— The Secretary of the Army may convey to the City of Lake Forest, Illinois (in tWs section referred to as the "City"), all right, title, and interest, of the United States in and to all or some portion of the parcel of real property, including improvements thereon, at the former Fort Sheridan, Illinois, consisting of approximately 14 acres and known as the northern Army Reserve enclave area. (b) CONSIDERATION. —As consideration for the conveyance under subsection (a), the City shall pay to the United States an amount equal to not less than the fair market value of the real property to be conveyed, as determined by the Secretary^ (c) USE OF PROCEEDS. — In such amounts as are provided in advance in appropriations Acts, the Secretary may use the funds paid by the City under subsection (b) to provide for the construction of replacement facilities and for the relocation costs for Reserve units and activities affected by the conveyance. 59-194O-98 - 13:QL3Part3
