TECHNICAL CORRECTION—BANKRUPTCY

SEC. 6058. (a) Section 325 of the Bankruptcy Abuse Prevention and Consumer Protection Act of 2005 is amended to read as follows:

‘‘SEC. 325. UNITED STATES TRUSTEE PROGRAM FILING FEE INCREASE.

‘‘(a) BANKRUPTCY FILING FEES.—Section 1930(a) of title 28, United States Code, is amended— ‘‘(1) by striking paragraph (1) and inserting the following: ‘‘ ‘(1) For a case commenced under— ‘‘ ‘(A) chapter 7 of title 11, $220, and ‘‘ ‘(B) chapter 13 of title 11, $150.’; and ‘‘(2) in paragraph (3), by striking ‘$800’ and inserting ‘$1,000’. ‘‘(b) UNITED STATES TRUSTEE SYSTEM FUND.—Section 589a(b) of title 28, United States Code, is amended— ‘‘(1) by striking paragraph (1) and inserting the following: ‘‘ ‘(1)(A) 40.46 percent of the fees collected under section 1930(a)(1)(A); and ‘‘ ‘(B) 28.33 percent of the fees collected under section 1930(a)(1)(B);’; and ‘‘(2) in paragraph (2), by striking ‘one-half’ and inserting ‘55 percent’. ‘‘(c) COLLECTIONS AND DEPOSITS OF MISCELLANEOUS BANKRUPTCY FEES.—Section 406(b) of the Judiciary Appropriations Act, 1990 (28 U.S.C. 1931 note) is amended by striking ‘pursuant to 28 U.S.C. section 1930(b)’ and all that follows through ‘28 U.S.C. section 1931’ and inserting ‘under section 1930(b) of title 28, United States Code, 28.87 percent of the fees collected under section 1930(a)(1)(A) of that title, 35.00 percent of the fees collected under section 1930(a)(1)(B) of that title, and 25 percent of the fees collected under section 1930(a)(3) of that title shall be deposited as offsetting receipts to the fund established under section 1931 of that title’.’’. (b) This section and the amendment made by this section shall take effect immediately after the enactment of the Bankruptcy Abuse Prevention and Consumer Protection Act of 2005.

DEPARTMENT OF COMMERCE—CONFERENCE

SEC. 6059. Within the amount provided for the Department of Commerce in division B of Public Law 108–447, the Secretary of Commerce shall convene a national conference on science, technology, trade and manufacturing. TECHNICAL CORRECTION—9/11 HEROES

SEC. 6060. Subsection (d) of the section 124 that appears under the item relating to ‘‘General Provisions—Department of Justice’’ of the Consolidated Appropriations Act of 2005 (Public Law 108– 447) is amended— (1) in paragraph (2), by striking ‘‘with the Secretary of the Treasury to prepare and strike, on a reimbursable basis,’’ and inserting ‘‘for striking’’; and (2) by striking paragraph (3).
