AN N U A LR E PO R T ON CASES RE VI E W E DBY NATIONAL CO M- MITTEE F OR EMPLOYER SUPPORT OF T H E G UARD AND RESERVE. S ection 43 3 2 of title 3 8 , U nited States Code, is amended —(1) by redesignating paragraphs (2), (3), (4), ( 5 ),and( 6 ) as paragraphs (3), (4), (5), (6), and ( 7 ) respectively
(2) by inserting after paragraph (1) the following new para- graph (2)

‘(2) T he number of cases reviewed by the Secretary of D efense under the N ational Committee for E mployer Support of the G uard and R eserve of the Department of Defense during the fiscal year for which the report is made.’’; and (3) in paragraph (5), as so redesignated, by stri k ing ‘‘(2), or (3)’’ and inserting ‘‘(2), (3), or (4)’’. SEC. 59 6 . MODIFICATION OF CERTIFICATE OF RELEASE OR DIS- CHARGE FROM ACTIVE DUTY ( DD FORM 214) . The Secretary of Defense, in consultation with the Secretary of V eterans Affairs, shall modify the Certificate of Release or Dis- charge from Active Duty (DD F orm 214) in order to permit a member of the Armed Forces, upon discharge or release from active duty in the Armed Forces, to elect that the DD – 214 issued with regard to the member be forwarded to the following: (1) The Central O ffice of the Department of Veterans Affairs in the District of Columbia. (2) The appropriate office of the Department of Veterans Affairs for the State or other locality in which the member will first reside after such discharge or release. SEC. 59 7 . REPORTS ON ADMINISTRATIVE SEPARATIONS OF MEMBERS OF THE ARMED FORCES FOR PERSONALITY DISORDER. (a) S ECR E TA R YOF DEFE NS ERE P ORTONA DMI NISTRATI V E SEPA- RATIONS B ASED ON P ERSONA L ITY DISORDER.— (1) REPORT RE QU IRED.—Not later than April 1, 2 0 08, the Secretary of Defense shall submit to the Committees on Armed Services of the Senate and the H ouse of Representatives a report on all cases of administrative separation from the Armed Forces of covered members of the Armed Forces on the basis of a personality disorder. (2) ELEMENTS.—The report re q uired by paragraph (1) shall include the following: (A) A statement of the total number of cases, by Armed Force, in which covered members of the Armed Forces have been separated from the Armed Forces on the basis of a personality disorder, and an identification of the var- ious forms of personality disorder forming the basis for such separations. (B) A statement of the total number of cases, by Armed Force, in which covered members of the Armed Forces 10USC 11 68note.
