( 6 ) A n analysis of the effect of inpatient and outpatient surveys on quality improvement and a comparison of patient satisfaction survey programs with patient satisfaction survey programs used by other public and private health care systems and organizations. (c) USEOFR E P O RTIN FOR MA T I ON. — The S ecretary shall use information in the report as the basis for a plan for improvements in patient satisfaction surveys used to assess health care at military treatment facilities in order to ensure the provision of high quality health care and hospital services in such facilities. SEC.714 . R E PO R T O NM E DI C AL P HY SICAL E X AMINATIONS O F MEM -B ERS OF THE ARMED FORCES BEFORE THEIR DEPLOY- MENT. N ot later than April 1 , 2 0 0 8 , the Secretary of D efense shall submit to the C ommittees on Armed Services of the Senate and the House of Representatives a report setting forth the following
(1) A comparison of the policies of the military departments concerning medical physical e x aminations of members of the Armed F orces before their deployment, including an identifica- tion of instances in which a member (including a member of a reserve component) may be required to undergo multiple physical examinations, from the time of notification of an upcoming deployment through the period of preparation for deployment. (2) An assessment of the current policies related to, as well as the feasibility of, each of the following: (A) A single predeployment physical examination for members of the Armed Forces before their deployment. ( B ) A single system for tracking electronically the results of examinations under subparagraph (A) that can be shared among the military departments and thereby eliminate redundancy of medical physical examinations for members of the Armed Forces before their deployment. SEC. 71 5 . REPORT AND ST U DY ON MULTIPLE V ACCINATIONS OF MEM- BERS OF THE ARMED FORCES. (a) REPORT RE QU IRE D .—Not later than 9 0 days after the date of the enactment of this Act, the Secretary of Defense shall submit to the Committees on Armed Services of the Senate and the House of Representatives a report on the policies of the Department of Defense for administering and evaluating the vaccination of mem- bers of the Armed Forces. (b) EL EMENTS.—The report required by subsection (a) shall include the following: (1) An assessment of the Department ’ s policies governing the administration of multiple vaccinations in a 24-hour period, including the procedures providing for a full review of an individual’s medical history prior to the administration of mul- tiple vaccinations, and whether such policies and procedures
