( 2 ) An assessment of the impact of the assistance provided under the Building Global Partnership authorities w ith respect to each country receiving assistance under such authorities. ( 3 ) A description of — (A) the processes used by the D epartment of Defense and the Department of S tate to j ointly formulate, prioriti z e, and select projects to be funded under the Building Global Partnership authorities

and (B) the processes, if any, used by the Department of Defense and the Department of State to evaluate the suc - cess of each project so funded after its completion. ( 4 ) A statement of the projects initiated under the Building Global Partnership authorities that were subse q uently transitioned to and sustained under the authorities of the F or- eign Assistance Act of 1 96 1 or other authorities. ( 5 ) An assessment of the utility of the Building Global Partnership authorities, and of any gaps in such authorities, including an assessment of the feasability and advisability of continuing such authorities beyond their current dates of e x piration (whether in their current form or with such modifica- tions as the Secretary of Defense and the Secretary of State jointly consider appropriate). (c) D EFIN I T I O N S .— I n this section

(1) A P P R OPRI A TE C O M MITTEES OF CON G RESS.— T he term ‘ ‘appropriate committees of C ongress ’ ’ means— (A) the Committee on Armed Services, the Committee on Appropriations, and the Committee on Foreign R elations of the Senate; and (B) the Committee on Armed Services, the Committee on Appropriations, and the Committee on Foreign Affairs of the H ouse of Representatives. (2) B U I LD ING GLO B AL PARTNERS H IP AUTHORITIES.—The term ‘‘Building Global Partnership authorities’’ means the following: (A) AUTHORIT Y FOR BUILDING CAPACITY OF FOREIGN MILITARY FORCES.—The authorities provided in section 12 0 6 of the N ational Defense Authorization Act for Fiscal Y ear 2006 (Public L aw 109 – 163; 119 Stat. 3456), as amended by section 1206 of the J ohn W arner National Defense Authorization Act for Fiscal Year 200 7 (Public Law 109– 364; 120 Stat. 241 8 ) and section 1206 of this Act. (B) AUTHORITY FOR SECURITY AND STABILI Z ATION ASSISTANCE.—The authorities provided in section 1207 of the National Defense Authorization Act for Fiscal Year 2006 (119 Stat. 3458), as amended by section 1210 of the National Defense Authorization Act for Fiscal Year 2008 (Public Law 110–181; 122 Stat. 369) and section 1207 of this Act. (C) CI V IC ASSISTANCE AUTHORITIES UNDER COMBATANT COMMANDER INITIATIVE FUND.—The authority to engage in urgent and unanticipated civic assistance under the Combatant Commander Initiative Fund under section 166a(b)(6) of title 10, U nited States Code, as a result of
