SEC. 220 3 .IM PR O V EMEN T S TO MILITARY FAMILY HOUSING UNITS. Subject to section 2 8 2 5 of title 10, United States Code, and using amounts appropriated pursuant to the authorization of appro- priations in section 2204(a)(6)(A), the Secretary of the Navy may improve existing military family housing units in an amount not to exceed $237, 9 90,000. SEC. 220 4 . AUTHORI Z ATION OF APPROPRIATIONS , NAVY. (a) I N G ENERAL.— F unds are hereby authorized to be appro- priated for fiscal years beginning after September 30, 2007, for military construction, land acquisition, and military family housing functions of the Department of the Navy in the total amount of $2,885,317,000, as follows: (1) For military construction projects inside the United States authorized by section 2201(a), $1,628,762,000. (2) For military construction projects outside the United States authorized by section 2201(b), $292,946,000.
