SEC.71 1 2 . MARTINV AN BU REN NATI O NA LH ISTORIC SITE. (a) D EFINITIONS.—In this section

(1) H ISTORIC SITE.—The term ‘ ‘historic site ’ ’ means the Martin V an Buren N ational Historic Site in the State of New Y ork established by P ublic L aw 93 – 4 86 (16 U .S. C . 461 note) on O ctober 26, 19 7 4. (2) MAP.—The term ‘‘map’’ means the map entitled ‘‘Boundary Map, Martin Van Buren National Historic Site’’, numbered ‘‘460 / 80801’’, and dated J anuary 2005. (3) SECRETAR Y .—The term ‘‘Secretary’’ means the Secretary of the Interior. (b) BOUN D ARY AD J UST M ENTS TO THE HISTORIC SITE.— (1) BOUNDARY ADJUSTMENT.—The boundary of the historic site is ad j usted to include appro x imately 261 acres of land identified as the ‘‘P R OPOS E D PAR K BOUNDARY’’, as gen- erally depicted on the map. (2) AC Q UISITION AUTHORITY.—The Secretary may ac q uire the land and any interests in the land described in paragraph (1) from willing sellers by donation, purchase with donated or appropriated funds, or exchange. (3) AVAILA B ILITY OF MAP.—The map shall be on file and available for public inspection in the appropriate offices of the National Park Service. (4) ADMINISTRATION.—Land acquired for the historic site under this section shall be administered as part of the historic site in accordance with applicable law (including regulations). (c) AUTHORIZATION OF APPROPRIATIONS.—There are authorized to be appropriated such sums as are necessary to carry out this section. SEC. 711 3 . P ALO ALTO BATTLE F IEL D NATIONAL HISTORICAL PAR K . (a) DESIGNATION OF PALO ALTO BATTLEFIELD NATIONAL HISTOR- ICAL PAR K .— (1) IN GENERAL.—The Palo Alto Battlefield National His- toric Site shall be known and designated as the ‘‘Palo Alto Battlefield National Historical Park’’. (2) REFERENCES.—Any reference in a law, map, regulation, document, paper, or other record of the United States to the historic site referred to in subsection (a) shall be deemed to be a reference to the Palo Alto Battlefield National Historical Park. (3) CONFORMING AMENDMENTS.—The Palo Alto Battlefield National Historic Site Act of 1991 (16 U.S.C. 461 note
