DIV I S I ONB—M I L I TARYC ONSTR U CTION AUT H ORI Z ATIONS SEC. 20 01. S HOR T TIT L E. This division may be cited as the ‘ ‘ M ilitary C onstruction Authori z ation Act for F iscal Y ear 2010 ’ ’. SEC. 2002. E XP IRATIO N OFA U THORI Z ATIONS AND A M OUNTS RE Q UIRED TO B E SPECIFIED B Y LA W . (a) E XP IRATION O F AUTHORI Z ATION S AFTER THREE YEARS.— Except as provided in subsection (b), all authorizations contained in titles X XI through XX V II and title XXIX for military construction projects, land ac q uisition, family housing projects and facilities, and contributions to the N orth Atlantic Treaty O rganization Secu- rity Investment Program (and authorizations of appropriations therefor) shall expire on the later of— (1) October 1, 2012
or (2) the date of the enactment of an Act authorizing funds for military construction for fiscal year 201 3 . (b) EXCEPTION.—Subsection (a) shall not apply to authorizations for military construction projects, land acquisition, family housing projects and facilities, and contributions to the North Atlantic Treaty Organization Security Investment Program (and authoriza- tions of appropriations therefor), for which appropriated funds have been obligated before the later of— (1) October 1, 2012; or (2) the date of the enactment of an Act authorizing funds for fiscal year 2013 for military construction projects, land acquisition, family housing projects and facilities, and contribu- tions to the North Atlantic Treaty Organization Security Invest- ment Program. SEC. 200 3 . RELATION TO FUNDIN G TABLES. (a) MILITARY CONSTRUCTION, MILITARY FA M ILY H OUSIN G , AND R ELATED ACTI V ITIES.—The amounts authorized to be appropriated by sections 2104, 2204, 2304, 2404, 2411, 2502, and 2 6 06 shall be available, in accordance with the requirements of section 4001, for projects, programs, and activities, and in the amounts, specified in the funding table in section 4501. (b) B ASE CLOSURE AND REALIGNMENT ACTIVITIES.—The amounts authorized to be appropriated by section 2 7 03 shall be available, in accordance with the requirements of section 4001, Mil i taryCons tr uc tion A ut h ori z ation Act f or F iscal Ye ar 201 0 .
