FEDERAL M ARITI M E COMMISSION SALARIES AND EXPENSES For necessary expenses of the Federal Maritime Commission as authorized by section 201(d) of the Merchant Marine Act, 1936, as amended (46 U.S.C. App. 1111), including services as authorized by 5 U.S.C. 3109; hire of passenger motor vehicles as authorized by 31 U.S.C. 1343(b); and uniforms or allowances therefore, as authorized by 5 U.S.C. 5901–5902, $24,135,000: Provided, That not to exceed $2,000 shall be available for official reception and representation expenses.
