124 STAT. 2748 PUBLIC LAW 111–259—OCT. 7, 2010 SEC. 805. TECHNICAL AMENDMENTS RELATING TO THE MULTIYEAR NATIONAL INTELLIGENCE PROGRAM. (a) IN GENERAL.—Subsection (a) of section 1403 of the National Defense Authorization Act for Fiscal Year 1991 (50 U.S.C. 404b) is amended— (1) in the heading, by striking ‘‘FOREIGN’’; and (2) by striking ‘‘foreign’’ each place it appears. (b) RESPONSIBILITY OF DIRECTOR OF NATIONAL INTELLIGENCE.— Such section 1403, as amended by subsection (a), is further amended— (1) in subsections (a) and (c), by striking ‘‘Director of Cen- tral Intelligence’’ and inserting ‘‘Director of National Intel- ligence’’; and (2) in subsection (b), by inserting ‘‘of National Intelligence’’ after ‘‘Director’’. (c) FUTURE-YEARS DEFENSE PROGRAM.—Subsection (c) of such section 1403, as amended by subsection (b), is further amended by striking ‘‘multiyear defense program submitted pursuant to sec- tion 114a of title 10, United States Code’’ and inserting ‘‘future- years defense program submitted pursuant to section 221 of title 10, United States Code’’. (d) CONFORMING AMENDMENTS.— (1) IN GENERAL.—The heading of such section 1403 is amended to read as follows: ‘‘SEC. 1403. MULTIYEAR NATIONAL INTELLIGENCE PROGRAM .’’. (2) TABLE OF CONTENTS AMENDMENT.—The table of contents in section 2 of the National Defense Authorization Act for Fiscal Year 1991 (Public Law 101–510; 104 Stat. 1485) is amended by striking the item relating to section 1403 and inserting the following new item: ‘‘Sec. 1403. Multiyear National Intelligence Program.’’. SEC. 806. TECHNICAL AMENDMENTS TO THE INTELLIGENCE REFORM AND TERRORISM PREVENTION ACT OF 2004. (a) AMENDMENTS TO THE NATIONAL SECURITY INTELLIGENCE REFORM ACT OF 2004.—The National Security Intelligence Reform Act of 2004 (title I of Public Law 108–458; 118 Stat. 3643) is amended— (1) in subparagraph (B) of section 1016(e)(10) (6 U.S.C. 485(e)(10)), by striking ‘‘Attorney General’’ the second place it appears and inserting ‘‘Department of Justice’’; (2) in subsection (e) of section 1071, by striking ‘‘(1)’’; and (3) in subsection (b) of section 1072, in the subsection heading by inserting ‘‘AGENCY’’ after ‘‘INTELLIGENCE’’. (b) OTHER AMENDMENTS TO THE INTELLIGENCE REFORM AND TERRORISM PREVENTION ACT OF 2004.—The Intelligence Reform and Terrorism Prevention Act of 2004 (Public Law 108–458; 118 Stat. 3638) is amended— (1) in section 2001 (28 U.S.C. 532 note)— (A) in paragraph (1) of subsection (c)— (i) by striking ‘‘shall,’’ and inserting ‘‘shall’’; and (ii) by inserting ‘‘of’’ before ‘‘an institutional cul- ture’’; (B) in paragraph (2) of subsection (e), by striking ‘‘the National Intelligence Director in a manner consistent with 50 USC 403g. 50 USC 1802–1805, 1822–1824, 1842.
