Be it enacted by the Senate and House of Representatives of the United States of America in Congress assembled, That the Secretary of the In- _?€¤¤i<>¤ fo terior be, and he is hereby, authorized and directed to place on the pension WOM H°my‘ roll, subject to the provisions and limitations of the pension laws,the name of Violet Henry, the widow of Sherrood Henry, late a private in company D, sixteenth regiments United States colored troops, and to pay her a pension at the rate of eight dollars per month, commencing July seventeenth, eighteen hundred ind sixty-tive, and also to pay her the sum of two dollars per month for Easter Henry, child under sixteen years of age of the said Sherrod and Violet, from the twenty-fifth day of July, eighteen hundred and sixty-six, until she attains the said age.
