Mw Jlkxico. — For the general incidental cxpcuscs of the Indian scr- New Maxim. vice in New Mexico, presents of goods, agricultural implements, and other usoful articles, and m assist them to locate in permanent abodes, and sustain themselves by the pursuits of civilized life, to be expended under the direction of tho Secretary of tho Interior, fifty thousand dollars, including Eve thousand dollars to be expended in establishing schools among the Pueblo Indians. Oregon. — For the general incidental expenses of the Indian service in O¤`°K°¤· Oregon, including insurance and transportation of annuity goods and presents, (where no special provision therefor is made by treaties,) and for dcfraying the expenses of the removal and subsistence of Indians in Oregon, (not parties to any treaty,) and for pay of necessary employees, forty thousand dollars. For this amount, to survey and allot lands in scvcralty to the Indians at Grande Ronde reservation in Ore cm, who may desire and be Htted for the same, under the provisions 0% the treaty of January twenty-second, eighteen hundred and fifty-Eve, with the coufederate bands of Indians residing in Willamette Valley, the title thereto not to be alienated by said Indians without the consent of the Secretary of the Interior, four thousand dollars. For repairs at Grande Ronde agency, two thousand dollars. Washington Zlcrritory. —For the general incidental expenses of the TJ!£;hl¤8*°¤ Indian service in Washington Territory, and for defmying the expenses ry‘ of removal and subsistence of Indians, (not parties to any treaty,) and for pay of necessary employees, twenty-four thousand four hundred dollars: Provided, That the balance not expended as herein provided shall be slcpended in the establishment of schools and the education of Indian cluldren in said Territory.
