Treasury is hereby directed and required to pay to William Nix0u,0f West Virginia, out of any money in the treasury not otherwise appropriated, the sum of five hundred and seventy-nine dollars and sixty-n1u·ee> cents, the same being the amount found due the said Wi11ia.m Nixon on the twelfth day of January, eighteen hundred and sixty-six, for carrying the mail prior to that time under contract with the P0st·0Hicc Department, but which was not called for by him until the balance of the fund for the payment of such claims was covered into the treasury in pursuance of the law in that regard made and provided.
