For ninth of ten installments, to be expended by the Secretary of the Interior, ten dollars for each Indian roaming, (estimated at one thousand eight hundred souls,) in the purchase of such articles as, from time to time, the condition and necessities of the Indians may indicate to be proper, as per same article and treaty, eighteen thousand dollars. For pay of physician, teacher, carpenter, miller, farmer, blacksmith, 15 stances. and engineer, per seventh article of same treaty, six thousand seven hundred dollars ~ ` i OI]]2Ll.\2lS. For tenth of fifteen installments of this amount, being third series, in 10 Stat, 1044- money or otherwise, per fourth article of treaty of March sixteenth, eighteen hundred and fifty-four, twenty thousand dollars. For interest on three hundred thousand dollars, at five per eentum M smgwigsv, per annum, to be paid semi-annually, in money or such articles as the Secretary of the Interior may direct, as per iirst article treaty of September twenty-ninth, eighteen hundred and sixty-tive, fifteen thousand _ dollars. That the Secretary of the Interior is hereby authorized to ,$'*l’***F~*>***’0 0**** expend for the subsistence and civilization of the Osage Indians, out of °""1'“m°“‘ ‘ funds belonging to them now in the Treasury of the United States, one hundred thousand dollars, of which amount not over one-third shall be paid to the said Indians per capita; and out of this appropriation he is Goods ,,,,,1 S,,,,. hereby authorized to pay for goods and supplies furnished the Osage plies. Indians while upon a hunt during the season of eighteen hundred and seventy-five and eighteen hundred and seventy-six to an amount not exceeding twelve thousand eight hundred and seventynine dollars and four cents. · For this amount, to be expended for the Osage Indians, in accordance 1870, cn. 296, with section twelve of the act of July fifteenth, eighteen hundred and 10 $i·=w·,30*· seventy, being interest on the net avails of Osage trust and diminished reserve lands sold prior to November ilrst, eighteen hundred and sev~ enty-six, as thllows: On nine hundred and forty~one thousand four hundred and fortyseven dollars and sixtysix cents, from November first, eighteen hundred and seventy-six, to January twelfth, eighteen hundred and seventyseven, nine thousand two hundred and eighty-five dollars and hfty-one cents ; on eight hundred and ninety-one thousand four hundred and forty-seven dollars and sixty-six cents, from January twelfth, eighteen hundred and seventy-seven, to July iirst, eighteen hundred and seventyseven, twenty thousand seven hundred and fifty-nine dollars and seventy-ibur cents; and on seven hundred and ninety-one thousand four hundred and forty-seven dollars and sixty-six cents, from July first, eighteen hundred and seventy-seven, to November first, eight- ‘ een hundred and seventy-seven, thirteen thousand three hundred and thirty-five dollars and thirty-three cents; in all, forty-three thousand three hundred and eighty dollars and fiftyeight cents.
