City, Otoe County, and State of Nebraska, shall be ’ ° changed to the Merehants’ National Bank of Nebraska City, whenever Ngw ¤,m,,_ the board of directors of said James Sweet National Bank of Nebraska City shall accept the new name by resolution of the said board, and cause an copy of said resolution, duly authenticated, to be filed with the Comptroller of the Currency: Provided, That such acceptance be made Proviao. within six mouths after the passage of this ect, and that all the expenses incident to such change, including engraving shall be borne and paid by said bank. - Sm:. 2. That the debts, dividends, liabilities, rights, privileges, and Liabilities, em., powers of the said James Sweet National Bank of Nebraska City shall *° *`°U°W <>h¤¤8¤- devolve upon and inure to the said Merchants’ National Bank of Nebraska City whenever such change of name is eiected. Sec. 3. That nothing in this act contained shall so be construed as Not to release in manner to release the said James Sweet National Bank from any he- !i¤bi1i*=y· bility, or aifect any action or proceeding in law in which said bank may be or become a party or interested.
