Polar fitgglgfxkézef two duplicate certincates, respectively, issued by the board of audit tmc,,,,., t0_ of said District, and stolen from her, numbered eighty-eight hundred and eighty-four for the sum of seventy-ilve dollars and thirty-four cents, and thirteen thousand six hundred and thirty-four, for the sum of eighteen dollars and eighty cents, dated August first, eighteen hundred and seventy-four. _B¤¤d of ind•m· Sec. 2. That before said auditor shall deliver to said Melissa G. Polar,

        • 7- the duplicate certificates as provided for in section one, she shall furnish satisfactory proof to said auditor of the loss of said certificates,

and that the same have not been paid and the said Melissa G. Polar shall execute and deliver to said auditor her bond of indemnity, in double the amount of the said certiilcates, with two sufficient sureties, to be approved by said auditor payable to the District of Columbia, which bond shall be filed by said auditor in the archives of said omce.
