Spencer as such lieutenant and captain in accordance with Promo. the intent of this act: Provided, That the amount for which credit C“’d‘*“- shall be given under the provisions of this act shall not exceed the under mentioned amounts, to wit: Un account of recruiting, ninety-two dollars and sixty-three cents; on account of Qnartermastens Department, one hundred and fifty-one dollars and seventy-tive cents; and on account of subsistence of the Army, one hundred and thirty-two dollars and six cents; making a total of three hundred and seventy-six dollars and forty-four cents.
