Whereas the Kansas City, Fort Scott and Gulf Railroad Company, $0}. i4, p. successor to the Kansas and Neosho Valley Railroad Company, has, ° ‘ 9* P' 4 ‘ under and in accordance with the provisions of "An act to secure the rights of settlers upon certain railroad lands, and to repeal the first five sections of au act entitled ‘Au act granting lands to the State of Kansas to aid in the construction of the Kansas and Neosho Valley Railroad audits extension to Red Bive1·,’ approved July twenty-fifth, eighteen hundred and sixty-six ", restored to the United States all the unsold lands received by it under its land-grant herein specihed, and paid into the Treasury the proceeds of all land sold: Therefore, Resolved by the Senate and House of Representatives of the United States Kansas .
