Be it enacted by the Senate and H0·use of Representatives of the GN me Q- Quick, United States of America in Conyress assembled, That the Secretary of the Interior be, and he is here y, authorized and directed to continue the name of George C. Quick, late a private in Captain Miller’s company of Illinois Mounted Rangers, in the war with the Indians, commonly called the Black Hawk war, on the pension-roll, subject to the provisions and limitations of law, at the rate of thirty dollars per month, in lieu of the pension of sixteen dollars per mont now received by said Quick.
