Be it enacted by the Senate and House oi Representatives of the United States of America in Con ress assem- led, That the Secretary Thompson D. nar. of the Interior be, and he is hereby, authorized and directed to place °‘¥f§;,,,m on the pension—roll the name of Thompson D. Hatfield, at the rate of twenty-five dollars a month, this sum to be paid only to the legally appointed guardian of said Thompson D. Hatfield, an insane person, for the purpose of his support an maintenance. Approved, February 23, 1889. CHAP. 224.-An act granting a pension to Ellen Edwards.
