For payment of Unite States district attorneys, the same being nmrm mor-nays. for payment of the regular fees provided by law for official services, two hundred and twenty-five thousand dollars. For payment of district attorneys, the same being for payment of _S1¤=<>i¤1 <><>¤¤r>*>=¢=- such special compensation as may be fixed by the Attorne -General U"' for services not covered by salary or fees, five thousand dollars. For payment of regular assistants to United States district attor- B¤z¤1¤¤·¤s¤¤¤qrs neys, who are appointed b * the Attorney-General at a fixed annual compensation, one hundred and ive thousand dollars. For payment of assistants to United States district attorneys who Speck! wi¤¤¤¤f¤· are employed by the Attorne -General to aid district attorneys in special cases, twenty thousand dollars. For fees of clerks, one hundred and seventy-tive thousand dollars. Germ. For fees of United States commissioners and justices of the eace ¤<>¤¤¤i¤¤i¤¤¢r¤.¤¤=· acting as United States commissioners, one hundred thousand dollars. And no part of any money appropriated by this act shall be used to . pay any fees to United States commissioners, marshals, or clerks for any warrant issued or arrest made, or other fees in prosecutions under the internal-revenue laws, unless the prosecution has been commenced upon a sworn complaint setting forth the facts constituting sm¤¤mp1¤m¤s¤• the ofense and alleging them to be within the personal knowled ce P" b° °° the aiiiant, or upon sworn complaint bya collector, or detputy collector of Internal Revenue or revenue agent, setting forth the facts upon information and belief and a proved either before or after such arrest by a circuit or district 'udlge or the attorney of the United States in the district where the offense is alleged to have been committed or the prosecution is by indictment. For fees of jurors, six hundred and fifty thousand dollars.
