CHAP. 586.—An Act Granting a pension to William J. Murray. July 7, 1898. Be tt enacted by the Senate and House of Representatives of the United _ _ States oj America in Congress assembled, That the Secretary of the J‘M“"“" Interior be, and be is hereby, authorized and directed to place on the pension roll, subject to the provisions and limitations of the pension laws, the name of William J. Murray, who served in the Department of the Gulf, in the telegraph department, in the year eighteen hundred and sixty-two, and in the Red River campaign in eighteen hundred and sixty-four, and pay him a pension at the rate of twelve dollars per month. Approved, July 7, 1898. CHAP. 587.-An Act Granting an increase of pension to Alvah A. Eaton. JMX 7. 1898· Be it enacted by the Senate and House of Representatives of the United States of America in Congress assembled, That the Secretary of the {-§lv¤!¤ A; E=·¤>¤;d Interior be, and he is hereby, authorized and directed to place on the °"°"°° m°"°° ` pension roll, subject to the provisions and limitations of the pension laws, the name of Alvah A. Eaton, late of Company A, Twenty-eighth New York Infantry Volunteers, and. pay him a pension at the rate of twenty- four dollars per month, in lieu of the pension he is now receiving. He it enacted by the Senate and House of Representatives of the United States oj America in Congress assembled, That the Secretary of the izzgigt girdogad interior be, and he is hereby, authorized and directed to place on the “°° ‘ pension roll, subject to the provisions and limitations of the pension laws, the name of John N. Landon, late private in Company K, Fifteenth Pennsylvania Volunteers, and Company H, One hundred and thirty-fifth Pennsylvania Volunteer Infantry, and pay him a pension at the rate of sixteen dollars per month, in lieu of the pension he is now receiving.
