Be it enacted by the Senate and House of Representatives of the United States of America in Congress assembled, That the Secretary of the James n.Pm¤m¤. Interior be, and he is hereby, authorized and directed to place upon the P°““°“‘ pension roll, subject to the provisions and limitations of the pension laws, the name of James H. Preston, late of Captain John GriHin’s company, Battalion of Missouri Mounted Volunteers, and pay him a pension of eight dollars per month for services against the Comanche Indians in the year eighteen hundred and forty-eight. Approved, March 3, 1899. CHAP. 521.-An Act Granting a pension to Michael Launan. Much 3_ 1w_ Be it enacted by the Senate and House of Representatives of the United States of America in Congress assembled, That the Secretary of the Michaelhmnan. Interior be, and he is hereby, authorized and directed to place on the P"“"°“· pension roll, subject to the provisions and limitations of the pension laws, the name of Michael Lannan, late a private in Company F, Second United States Infantry, and pay him a pension at the rate of twenty dollars per month.
