Fon rum INSANE: For current expenses of Expenses.the Government Hospital for the lnsane: For support, clothing, and treatment in the Government Hospital for the Insane of the insane of the Army and Navy, Marine Corps, Revenue-Cutter Service, inmates of the National Home for Disabled Volunteer Soldiers, persons charged with _ or convicted of crimes against the United States who are insane, all persons who have become insane since their entry into the military or naval servtice of the United States, who have been admitted to the hospital and who are indigent, two hundred and ninety-four thousand seven hundred and twenty dollars; and not exceeding one thousand five hundred dollars of this sum may be expended in defraying the expense of the removal of patients to their friends; not exceeding one thousand dollars may be expended in the purchase of such books, periodicals, and papers as may be required for thzpurposes of the hospital, and not exceeding one thousand five hundredollars for actual · and necessary expenses incurred in the apprehension and return to the h ital of escaped patients. g,,§u‘},§,f*“K“ °“" oggr the building and grounds of the Government Hospital for the Insane, as follows: For general repairs and improvements, twenty-five thousand dollars.
