Fe Pacific m§’{}}(f§d (€,‘Qnpf;;l“° Railr Company, a corporation incorporated under the Act of Con- Sqlecréeafecigwp gress approved March third, eighteen hundred and ninety-seven, $$’h.,,°§'L.,.q_ mm im entitled "Au Act to define the rights of purchasers under mort ges "°1·”· P·“”· authorized by an Act of Congress approved April twentieth, eigileen "°‘· "· P- “’· hundred and seventy-one, concerning the Atlantic and Pacific Railroad C0mpany,” be, and it hereby is, authorized and empowed to sell or lease its railroad and other property, including all rights, powers, privileges, grants, and francluses, to the Atchison, Topeka and Santa e Rmlway Company, a corpjoration of the State of Kansas, its successors and asm ns; but suc purchaser or lessee shall take, hold, m*’;';_Q}$*‘;lf’0{5§°;i and use the railroad and property sold or leased subject to all duties, mms, mc. g obligations, conditions, and restrnctions relating thereto which ut the time of such sale or lease shall be bindin upon said Santa Fe Pacific Railroad Company as fullv as though asu5x sale or lease had not been made; and thereupon such purchaser or lessee shall have and enjoy all rights, powers, privileges, grants, and franchises relating to said . railroad and property, or any part thereof, that were conferred by Congress upon said Santa Fe acific Railroad Company: ]·5·ovided, 1 t kou·m·e¢·, That said railroad bball remain as heretofore u. post route m¤¢e,e$°° a °°° and military road, sub°ect to the use of the United States for postal, military, naval, and all other Government service, and also sub]ect to such regulations as Congress may impose restricting the charges for such Government transportation, and subject also to all other rights of the United States.
