Govrcmzwxnr Hosrrrn. ron rms: INSANEZ For current expenses of the ,,,g‘{‘}$,§'}','{§,{‘,f_, H°* Government Hospital for the Insane: For support, clothing, and treat- Expenses- l ment in the Government Hospital for the Insane of the insane of the Army and Navy, Marine Cop, Revenue-Cutter Service, inmates of the National Home for Disab ed Volunteer Soldiers, persons charged with or convicted of crimes against the United States who are insane, all persons who have become insane since their entry into the military or naval service of the United States, who have been admitted to the hospital and who are indigent, two hundred and seventy-nine thousand seven hundred and eighty dollars; and not exceeding one thousand five hundred dollars of this sum may be expended in defraying the expense of the removal of patients to their friends; not exceeding one thousand dollars may be expended in the purchase of such books, periodicals, and papers as may be required or the purposes of the hospital, and not exceeding one thousand five hundred ollars for actual and necessary expenses incurred in the apprehension and return to the h ital of escaped patients. ` ogldr the buildings and grounds of the Government Hospital for the g,§\f,}dfi¤¢¤ ¤¤·i Insane, as follows: _ - £"or general repairs and improwgrgntsiltweintyi-|(§v¢i>l thousand dollars. or new as ant, two thousand `ve un re dollars.
