Be tt enacted the Senate and House of Rq>resentati*ves of the United [ _ 1 States ofAme1:u:a ’l>lI Congress assembled, That the following described E`$,l’,l}°JR“l2°b,,g0u premises, to wit: The southeast quarter of section nineteen, the north- *°@n¥‘”;{gg°’Y· west quarter of the southwest quarter of section twenty, and the P ` northwest quarter of the northeast quarter of section thirt , all in township two north, of range fortyyone east, of the Willamette meridian, in the State of Oregon, be, and the same are hereby, granted to the _State of Oregon, for the use of said State in maintaining and operating thereon a fish hatchery: Provided, That in case said State gmvfgin o Oregon shall at any time for a (period of five years fail to maintain °v° °"` and ograte a fish hatchery on said premises, or on somepart thereof, . then e grant hereinbefore made of said premises to said State shall terminate, and said premises, and the whole thereof, shall revert to the United States: PromIded further, That the Secretary of the m§‘,i°'f§,,{’,§"“‘°“,§,{ Interior is hereby authorized and empowered to ascertain and deter- ¤¤¤{!¤ *0 v¤¤ili:n<¤<>- mine whether or not such hatchery is being maintained and operated m u' _ _ on said premises, and.if he shal at any time determine that, for a °°“"‘"°"“· grziod o two years subsequent to the passage of this Act, the State of gon has failed to maintain and operate a iish hatchery on said premises, he shall make and enter an order of record in his Department to that effect, and directing the restoration of said premises, and the whole thereof, to the public domain, and such order shall be final and conclusive, and thereupon and thereby said premises shall be restored to the public domain and freed from the operation of the grant aforesaid. _ Approved, April 19, 1904.
