CHAP. 1 187.-An Act Authorizing and empowering the Secmtaryof Warto locate F°b¤'¤¤¤' *5.1907- nright of way forand granting the same and a. right to operate and maintain a line of [5* 8288*] railroad throu h the Fort Wright Military Reservation, in the State of Washington, [Public, No. 110.] to the Portland and Seattle Railway Company, its successors and assigns. Be it enacted by t/uz Senate and House ofRe]»·esentat¢}vec of the United States of America in Congress assembled, That the Secretary of War B_;§;.‘v°:t{'§,f‘Q{‘?jQ},‘#’Y ' is hereby authorized and empowered to locate a right of way, not RP;>{¢1¤¤d•i¤dS¤¤•¤¤ exceeding one hundred feet in width, except that for bridges and g.’§,,€Z§y¤g$,€Y,’P$v'§§' - other structures and approaches thereto he may, in his discretion, "“°“€**· locate a right of way not exceeding one hundred and fifty feet in width, throdghvthe lands of the PL011: Wright Military Reservation, in the State 0 ushington if in is judgment it can be done in such a mu nner as not to inteifere with the uses of said reservation for military purposes by the United States; and when said right of way shall be so located it is hereby granted during the pleasure of Congress to the Portland and Segttle Rpiway Company, a. corporation organized under the laws of the tate 0 ashington, IIS successors and assigns for the purripose of constructing a railroad and telegraph line thereon; Provided, hat the said right of way and the width and location Q°',{‘j'f,';__e,c__,,, be thereof through said lands, the compensation therefor, and the regu- gyrxvxed byswvrnry lations for operating said railroad within the limits of the said military ° ' reservation so as to prevent all damage to public ropcrty or for public uses shall be prescribed by the Secretary of Vihnr prior to any entry upon said lands or the commencement of the construction of said works: Pr0vz`ded also, That whenever said right of way shall R°'°"*°“· cease to be used for the purposes aforesaid the same shall revert to the United States. _ Sec. 2.
