BY mn Pxnsmnur or rmi Uurrmn Srxrms or Anmmcn ’¤¤¤ ¤·m¤- A PROCLAMATION WHEREAS it appears that the public od will be romoted b "’°‘*”**° N•°*°¤•* adding certain forest lands within the Stat? of Utah, tolihe Fishlakse National Forest, and by eliminating therefrom certain other lands, also vvithiiiigga State of Utsih; agd WHE it a ars t at the public good will be romoted b transferring to the Figlilake N ationai) Forest, within the £ate of Utali: a portion of the area heretofore embraced in the Manti National Forest, also within the State of Utah; Now, therefore, I, Woodrow Wilson, President of the United States $fj_°2'g°d*§ggi_ of America, by virtue of the dpower in me vested by the Act of Con- ’P` gress approved March thir , eighteen hundred and ninety-one (26 tat., 1095), entitled "An Act To repeal timbe1·—culture laws, and for other purpkpses/’ and also by the et of Co?·ess approved June V°*-"°·P-°°· fcgiriitlk eigMteen hundred and ninefiy-sevend£2§0 :::1;., 11-34), " ct akmg' appropriations or sun ci expenses o Government for the d,sc£ year ending June thirtieth, eighteen hundred and ninety-eight, and for other purposes," do proclaim that the boundaries of this, the Fishlake National Forest, and the boundaries of the ab0ve—mentioned Manti National Forest, are hereby changed as shown on the diagram forming a part hereof and on the diagram forming a plart of the proclamation for the said Manti *"“·P·*“’°°- National Forest, whic I have also signed this same day; and that the said Fishlake and the said Manti proclamations are made and are intended to be and shall be considered as one act to become effective simultaneously; and that it is not intended by this proclamation nor A'°° •*°°'*•**· by the above—mentioned Manti proclamation to reserve any land not heretofore embraced in a National Forest, in the said above—mentioned State, nor to release any land from this, the said Fishlake, nor from the said Manti National Forest, except those areas shown as additions and eliminations on the diagram forming a part hereof, and on the diagram forming a part of the proclamation for the said Manti National orest. The withdrawal made by this proclamation shall, as to all lands w",,";' *‘¢'*” °°‘•‘· which are at this date legally appropriated under the public land laws or reserved for an public purpose, be subject to, and shall not interfere with or defeat legal rights under such appropriation, nor prevent the use for such public purpose of lands so reserved, so long as such appropriation is legally maintained, or such reservation remains in force. The lands herein eliminated from the Fisblake National Forest are hereby withdrawn under the Act of June twenty-fifth, nineteen hun- ere, _ ' dred and ten (36 Stat., 847), as amended by the Act of An st twenty- °l' 3°’ P' S4" fourth, nineteen hundred and twelve (37 Stat., 497), for cgssification, "°‘·3’·P·‘°7· and will, when compatible with the public interests, be restored to settlement and entry under the laws applicable thereto on such dates
