That for_the purpose of the normal tax only there shall mmm i be allowed the following credits: _ (a) The amount received as dividends from a corporation which is mm? °°"’°°m°° taxable under this title upon its net income, and amounts received as dividends from a personal service corporation out of earnings or profits upon which income tax has been imposed by Act of Con ess; mt t F d I (b) The amount received as interest upon obligations oi? the seer¤§i§,e°iK ° m United States and bonds issued by the War Finance Corporation, which is included in gross income under section 213; P do (c) In the case of a single person, a personal exemption of $1,000, °”°°°I°x°mp °S‘ or in the case of the head of a family or a married person living with husband or wife, a personal exemption of $2,000.
