'p' ’ June 6, 1900, as amended by section 2 of an Act entitled "An Act to amend section 86 of an Act to provide a government for the Territoiély of Hawaii, to provide for additional judgles, and for other ju `cial purposes/’ approved March 3, 1909, whic section also constitutes section 363 of the Compiled Statutes of the Territory of Alaska, 1913, be, and the same hereby is, further amended so as to read as follows: D_ _ "Sec. 363. There is hereby established a district court for the uSh§{"°°°°°” °°’°°b` District of Alaska, with the `urisdiction of district courts of the United States and with general jiuisdiction in civil, criminal, equity, _ and admiralty causes; and four district judges shall be a pomted ;,§ilu"udg°° °°th°" for the district, each at an annual salary of $7,500, who shall durin e,§}**°'>’· '°s“‘“‘°°» their terms of office reside in the divisions of the district to whicg the may be respectively assigned by the President. The court Rw¤¤1i¤s divisionsshai consist of four divisions, w ich shall also be recordin divisions. _ _ _ "Division numbered one shall consist of all that part of gre District D“"’·‘°“ N°· L of Alaska lying east of the one hundred and forty-first meridian of west longitude. , _ _ "Division numbered two shall consist of all that territory lyin D“"“‘°° N°·2· west of a line commencing on the Arctic coast at the one hundred and forty-eighth meridian; thence extending south alon the easterly watershed of the Colville River to a oint on the Rogry Mountain divide between the headwaters of Col)ville River on the north and west and the waters of the Chandlar River on the south; thence southwesterly along the divide between the waters of the Colville River, Kotzebue Sound, and Norton Sound on the north and west and the waters of the Yukon on the south to the one hundred and sixty-first meridian of west longitude; thence along said meridian to a point midway between the Yukon River and, the Kuskokwim River; thence southwesterly to the point of intersection of the sixty- first parallel of north latitude with the shore of Berin Sea; the said division to include all the islands l north of the fifty-eighth parallel of north latitude and west of tire one hundred and forty- eighth meridian of west longitude, exceptin Nelson Island, all islands in Kuskokwirn Bay, all islands in Bristc§ Bay, and all islands 11: th§ Gulf of Alaska, north of the :Efty-eighth parallel of north trtu e. "Division numbered three shall consist of all that territory lying m"‘S‘°° N°·3· south and west of the line starting on the coast of the Gulf of Alaska at the one hundred and forty-first meridian of west longitude; thence northerly along said meridian to a point due east from Mount Kimball; thence west to the summit o Mount Kimball; thence southwesterly along the southerly watershed of the headwaters of Tanana River; thence westerly along the divide between the waters of the Gulf of Alaska on_the south and the waters of the Yukon on the north to the summit of _Moxmt McKinley; thence continuing southwesterly along the divide between the waters of the Kuskokwim Riyer and Bay on the north and west and the Gulf of Alaska and Bristol Bay on the south to the westerl point of Cape Newenham; the said division to include the Alaska Teninsula, the Aleutian and
