WHEREAS, the President of the United States, under an Act of ¥,i°;°§,,%;’§f" Congress approved March 2, 1917, entitled, "An Act To provide a V°'·3°·P·°5*~ civil government for Porto Rico, and for other purposes," is authorized to convey to the people of Porto Rico from time to time, in his discretion, such lands, bu dings, or interests in lands or other lpro_p— erty now owned by the United States and within the territorial imits of orto Rico as in his opinion are no longer needed for purposes of the United States; and · WHEREAS, certain portions of the reservations heretofore set apart for military or naval purposes within the Municipality of San Juan, Porto Rico, are no longer needed for the purposes of the United States; and WHEREAS, such lands are desired by the Municipality of San Juan, Porto Rico, in connection with the construction of a public road or boulevard within the limits of said Municipality) and may be advantageousl used for said ugposeéivy the yipop e of orto Rico, , Now, Tniaimroan, 1, WE0 mw ilson, resident of the United ,,;,3*,;,;*,;;* i·;¤ ,%::5; States, by virtue of the authority inme vested, do hereby proclaim ’**@“'°Y ¤*¤’· and make known that the following described lands to be used for highway urposes only, and subject to the conditions hereinafter mentionerli are hereby transferred and conveyed to the people of Porto Rico: _ _ _ _ _ Such strip or parcel of land within the Municipality of San Juan, now occupied as naval or military reservations, as maybe needed to develop or construct a boulevard 15 meters wide, 7.50 meters on each side of the center line thereof, extending from "Plaza de Colon" to "San Antoni0" bridge, such boulevard to follow, in a general way the upper bank o the embankment along the sea shore line all through Puerta de Tierra district, and in the direc- 44282°—vor. 41—r·r 2-—27
