Be it enacted by the Senate and House of Re esentatives of the United States of America in Congress assembled, That from funds appro- §,‘;°;,§,'f,‘,§{"°{,f“‘§§0m piriated and contributed for the control of floods on the Sacramento ¤¤¤§r¤1c{;f¤dsSr¤r iver in pursuance of the Flood Control Act, approved March 1, mmei°il]$snf$erl°u’ °°` 1917, the California Débris Commission is hereby authorized to pay V°1·39»P·9‘*"· to the city of Sacramento, California, the sum of $161,557.0S, as equitable reimbursement of money expended by the said city in the construction of the Weir at the head of the Sacramento by—pass leading into the Yolo by-pass, such structure being an essential part of the project adopted by the aforesaid Act as set forth in House Document Numbered 81, Sixty-second Congress, first session, as modified by the re ort of said commission submitted February 8, 1913, approved by tihe Chief of Engineers of the United States Army and the llgoard of En ineers for Rivers and Harbors, and printed in Rivers and Harbors Committee Document Numbered 5, Sixty-third Congress, first session, in so far as said plan provides for the rectification and enlargement of river channels and the construction of weirs. Approved, August 24, 1922. CHAP. 285.-An Act To permit adjustment of conflicting claims tocertain lands in Mohave County, Arizona. [Pubns, No. 286-`.__] Be in enacted by the Senate and House of Representatives of the United States of America in Congress assembled, That the Secretary of §;;>§;‘,}¤§Qj· in W) the Interior be, and he is hereby, authorized and empowered, in his mw _Uoiinty,’ aiu., discretion, to accept a relinquishment from the owners of the odd- °“°h°"‘°°' numbered sections of land falling within townships sixteen, sixteen and one—half, and seventeen north of range thirteen west, Arizona, and permit said owners to select and receive in exchange therefor patents of an equal area of vacant surveyed, nonmineral, nontimbered public land of the United States in the county of Mohave, State of Arizona. Approved, August 24, 1922. CHAP. 286.-An Act Amending the proviso of the Act approved August 24, 1912, AF§lS;g_2tfg£?‘ with reference to educational leave to employees of the Indian Service. "TI¥iH1ErT<iEsT°` Be it enacted by the Senate and House of Representatives of the United kdm h is States of America in Congress assembled, That the proviso of the Act VD]_37’;(; 5'T§,,;m€,,d. approved August 24, 1912 (Thirty-seventh Statutes at Large, page °d· 519), allowing educational leave to employees of the Indian Service, is hereb amended by striking out the word "fifteeni' in the sixth line of the sixth paragraph of said Act, and inserting m lieu thereof Im f _ the word "thirty," so that the proviso shall read: "Provided, That me `i°QS,,{”p;§§.”e§S”‘l°fl,$ hereafter employees of the Indian schools may be allowed, in addition g§g{°§{’e’;1“,lg‘“°“”gS· to annual leave, educational leave not to exceed thirty days per ' calendar year for attendance at educational gatherings, conventions,
