W. Glidden and E. F. Hobbs, of Lawrence, Kansas, to reimburse them for money necessarily expended in connection with their contract with the Government for the improvement of Huron Cemetery, an Indian reservation in Kansas City, Kansas, in defending their interests in suits brought by the Connelley sisters, Indian wards of the Government, to prevent them from carrying out their contract with the United States Government in improving the Huron Cemetery in Kansas City, Kansas. Be it enacted by the Senate and House of Representatives of the [ _ United States of America in Congress assembled, That the Secretary §,§’,i’,§‘ff,f’f{},{°h°‘ of the Treasury is hereby authorized and directed to pay, out of any mone§in the Treasury not otherwise sgipropriated, the sum of $3,000 to uperto Vilche, of Guantanamo ity, Cuba, in full compensati‘on_for the low of his daughter, Idelisa Vilche, and for injury to h1S daughter, Ofelia Vilc e, the former having been killed an the latter imgred by a bullet fired from his rifle by Private Ralph F. Carter, nited States Marine Corps, who became suddenly insane while on sentry duty at the marine camf near Guantanamo City, and for all expense mcurred by the said Ruperto Vilche in connection with the said death and injury. _ Approved, March 2, 1923.
