Harding, President of the United ·'“°°m°'”°°*‘· States of America, by virtue of the plower in me vested by the Act of Congress approved 1me fourth, e` teen hundred and ninety-seven (30 tat., 11, at 34 and 36), entitldd "A.n Act making appropriations "°‘-°°·P·3°· for sundry civil expenses of the Government for the Escal year ending June thirtieth, eighteen hundred and ninety-eight, and for other purposes", do proclaim that the boundaries of the Plumas National orest are here y changed and are now as shown upon the diagram hereto annexed and forming a part hereof; and that this proclamation and those changing the boundaries of the Lassen and Tahoe $1* M- National Forests, which I have also signed this same day, are made and are intended to be, and shall be considered as, one act to become effective simultaneously. It is not intended by this proclamation to release any) land from A'°°•”°°'°“· reservation nor to reserve any land not heretofore em raced in a National Forest.
