Sec. 309. (a) A candidate, in his campaign for election, shall not ¤¢%i°l°f¤-&1i°¤iii°¢eli:i° make expenditures in excess of the amount which he may lawfully make under the laws of the State in which he is a candidate, nor in excess of the amount which he may lawfully make imder the provisions of this title.
